St. John's wort extract 10:1 std. 0.3% hypericin 400 mg

DESCRIPTION:

SEDATIVE & CALMING

- Concentrated extract 10:1 equivalent to 4000 mg per capsule

- Helps to relieve agitation and nervousness

- Provides sedative and calming effects as well as a good mood balance

DOSAGE adult: Take 1 capsule 3 times daily.  Use for at least one week to see the beneficial effects.  Consult a health care practitioner if use is prolonged beyond 18 weeks.

PRECAUTIONS: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking anxiolytics, anticonvulsants, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants and/or opiates. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or any source of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you are taking anticancer agents, anticoagulants, antidepressants such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular drugs, immunosuppressants and/or contraceptives.  KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: Some individuals may experience mild gastrointestinal distress, nausea, agitation and/or headache. Hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, may occur. If this occurs, discontinue use.
